It’s Out of Our Hands (2017)
Each shot shows the same woman holding up a object; releasing it for gravity to pull it to the ground. Beyond object and space, the only variation seems to be in how long it takes to let go.
It’s Out of Our Hands presents a meditation on the pleasures of open-handedness, finitude, childishness and destruction – even at the risk of things falling painfully on one’s toes.
