Some Possibilities

Performance for the stage. 30mins approx.

First presented at Chisehale Dance Space (London) May 2017.

Two figures perform a series of easy choreographies in redundant unison. A continual questioning of "what about this?", gently probes how or why a choreographic work might form. T

Time and attention expand and move in circles. Awkward, imprecise and fidgeting bodies are exposed through the subtle dynamics of restlessness and fatigue.

Some Possibilities is a soft and expansive work that presents continuous proposition, consideration, circling, exchange, contemplation and repetition.

It corrupts minimalist performance's construction of a rigid focussed 'neutral' body by subtly revealing a figure that sighs, wobbles, fidget, mutters, and looks back at their audience with banal awkwardness.
